The Rio Grande Soaring Association will host a Memorial Day Fly-In in Alamogordo, Southern New Mexico, from May 29 to May 31. Contests will include Spot Landing, Race to Goal, Bomb Drop, Duration and Open XC. Minimum Hang 3 and Para 3 with mountain experience.
Additional this year: Platform towing at the nearby Alamogordo Airport! Enjoy desert thermals with tall, cool mountains right at hand for family trips. Trophies, friends, barbecue, good flying and a welcoming community how can you beat it? Contest cost: $20.

TTT Mayhem is always the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, featuring a party/feast/bonfire with flying activities continuing all weekend, weather permitting. TTT will host 3-day race to goal format events.
The cost to be $20 for three days of racing! This event will require GPS track logs to score. Dean Funk has volunteered to score these meets. Dean will also hold scoring tutorials for interested pilots.
After a day of racing, we'll meet back at Henson Gap to cookout and compare stories and strategies.
