Thank you for your interest in the USHPA Calendar Program!  Each year, the USHPA looks for the best and brightest imagery that captures the essence of the sports of hang gliding and paragliding for the calendar - and these submissions come from you!  Be sure to read over the Submission Requirements so that you know what we're looking for in the line of imagery.  Anyone can submit images for the calendar, as long as they meet the Requirements.

For the 2010 calendar, if your photo makes the cover of either the HG or PG calendar, you'll receive the standard contributor payment for your photo.  The two photos that make the HG & PG covers will also get a free Helmet-Mounted Push-To-Talk (PTT) Switch, courtesy of Thermal Tracker. 

There will also be feature story in the December 2009 issue of Hang Gliding & Paragliding magazine, highlighting the photos and the pilots and photographers behind them.

Calendar Submission Requirements

The calendar submissions must meet the following requirements:

• Horizontal photos in digital format with a MINIMUM of 3120 W x 2400 H (7.5 mega pixels)

• Please submit unaltered at the preferred resolution, if possible. Only submit photos taken after January 2007.

• Each photographer MUST INCLUDE: Signed contributor agreement (1 per photographer)

• Each submission MUST INCLUDE submission form, that has photographers name, mailing address, phone, email address AND a photo caption, location, site name, pilot name, wing type, month & year of photo. Rename each .txt document same as submitted photo. Please include metatag data in the photo file if possible.

• Submissions deadline is May 31st. Send your photos to: USHPA Calendar, Attn: Martin Palmaz, PO Box 1330, Colorado Springs CO 80901-1330.

• All contributors will receive confirmation of receipt and photos will be returned upon completion of the project.
