USHPA Announces a Competition Symposium

to be held January 8 - 10, 2010

The Board of Directors approved the addition of three new classes of competitions. These are Open Distance (OD), Aerobatics (Aero) and Accredited Events and Competitions (ACE). ACE is a new way for USHPA to help chapters and pilots organize local, stress-free competitions that will be fun for all of our members, without the cost and time associated with national ranking types of competitions. More information on competitions can be found in the draft version of the Fall 2009 BOD meeting minutes in the Member's Only section of ushpa.aero.

The Board also approved a Competition Symposium to develop plans and criteria for these new classes of competition. A panel of experts have volunteered to conduct the symposium and work out the details for the new classes. The panel consists of:
