Point of the Mountain Petition to Save north side: 03/16/2013 The north side of the Point of the Mountain, Draper, UT, is currently being mined and the local community are banding together for 10,000 signatures to both save the flying site but also the Salt Lake City/Draper skyline. ELECTION RESULTS 12/21/2012: The election has closed and here are the results of the election for USHPA regional directors to serve the 2013-2014 term. Not all regions had an election, since directors serve staggered two year terms. Read more...

DUES CHANGE (effective 1/1/2013): After much deliberation at the Fall Board of Directors meeting, following insurance hikes and other costs due to inflation since our last dues change in 2007, the Association is forced to raise the dues by $24 for ALL memberships. The Family discount was lowered to an $18 savings and the Subscriptions will now be raised by $8.

USHPA BROCHURES: Now available, the Hang Gliding and Paragliding brochures are ready for download and by request for USHPA Sanctioned and ACE Events. Instructors are encouraged to download larger files in the Instructors Only section of the members section and personalize them to solicit training and tandem flights. Chapters are also encouraged to use these new resources for outreach and education.
